The beginning of love

"The beginning of love is to let those
we love be perfectly themselves, and
not to twist them to fit our own image.
Otherwise we love only the reflection
of ourselves we find in them"

Which way ought I go from here?

"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where--"
"Then it doesn't much matter which way you go."
"-So long as I get somewhere."
"Oh, you're sure to do that, if only you walk long enough"

Let's forget the labels shall we?

The one thing many people fail to recognise is that women are also responsible for objectifying and labeling women. Carl Jung furthered Freud's Oedipus theory adding that the female child and mother compete 'for psychosexual possession of the father' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oedipus_complex). This is known as the Electra Complex. This suggests that the female child desires to kill the mother so that she may have the father. Many theorists have likened this idea to female relationships, in that a woman may project damaging views onto others of the same gender in order to be seen favourably by a man.

So let's ditch the misogynistic slurrs that we label one another with. Supporting each other definitely gets people further in life.

The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

At last a chapter that reflects the true nature of the children-come-adult-come-children-again's struggle to adjust to life after the dreamlike land of Narnia...
